H5-2000 is designed for use on industry standard metal pipes to provide protection
on automotive brake and fuel lines in areas exposed to mechanical abuse and
moisture.The product is positioned on straight pipe lengths prior to the second
end nut fitting.Each size of H5-2000 tubing has been designed for use on a
specific standard size of metal pipe.The product rapidly shrinks on application
of heat above 115°c and the adhesive melts and flows around the substrate,eliminating
air gaps.Once installed, the pipes are bent and formed.

Installation
Equipment to install H5-2000 will depend on production capacity and pipe length.Generally,Conveyor
belt type ovens with heaters situated above and
below a mesh belt are used.The belt speed should be easily controlled and
the heater powerful enough in order to achieve the required temperature
profile on the metal pipe and surface of the tubing.
